Pakistan are going really strong and have found a skill in defending totals. Their bowling attack is pretty solid and that is making up for a batting line-up that has some holes in it. For New Zealand, the line-up is slowly getting back into the groove, with the top-order getting some decent time out in the middle
Played- 8 | New Zealand- 3 | Pakistan- 4 | No result- 0 | Tie- 1
Date: 11th October 2022
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Hagely Oval, Christchurch
The weather at Christchurch is moderate with minimal chances of rain during the NZ vs PAK fixture.
The Christchurch track has some grass on it but is likely to play flat with a lot of runs on offer. Bowling first will be a better option.
Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain
Martin Guptill, Finn Allen, Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Michael Bracwell, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, Ish Sodhi
Mohammad Rizwan is in really good form with consecutive scores above fifty. He is looking really consistent and should enjoy the flatter and smaller grounds in New Zealand. He is off to a good start this series and continues to look unstoppable with the bat.
In both games Kane Williamson got a decent hit out in the middle. Runs are coming, the shots are their but his strike-rate is not the greatest. With few games left before the World Cup, he has some work on hand and will need to show more intent at the top.

Pakistan are in top form and should continue going well even though they are up against the home side.
