Both Pakistan and New Zealand enter the last leg of their World Cup preparation as they take each other on. New Zealand will be eager to test their bench strength here which is very important given the fact that Kane Williamson, their captain is likely to be out of the World Cup, and Trent Boul, without a central contract remains in doubt.
Date: April 27th, 2023

Venue: Rawalpindi
A warm and dry evening with a lot of dew seems very likely for the upcoming game.
The Rawalpindi pitch has been pretty flat and bowling first would be a better option.
Played- 110 | New Zealand- 56 | Pakistan- 50 | No Result- 1 | Tie- 3
Rachin Ravindra, Will Young, Tom Latham, Chad Bowes, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, Mark Chapman, Matt Henry, Ish Sodhi, Blair Tickner, Henry Shipley
Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shan Masood, Mohammad Nawaz, Ifthikar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah
Babar Azam
Babar Azam’s captaincy across format has been in discussion for a while. He is now set to take the field though with his captaincy role in place after all the discussions, and Babar will hope to get started with regular service as he looks to cut out the outside noise.
Daryl Mitchell
Mitchell has proven to be a silent but important member of the side over the last year. He has produced some crucial knocks in the middle order when the other players failed to deliver. Now, with Williamson and Conway out, Mitchell will have some added responsibility and could be backed to do the hard work.
Pakistan, with their full-strength side come in as favorites for the upcoming game.
