Pakistan are set to take on Zimbabwe in their second fixture of the world cup at the Perth Stadium. Prior to this, Pakistan had a real tight game against their arch rivals, India and finished second in a nail biting encounter. They shall be eager to get a few points on the table and get some much needed momentum moving forward into the tournament. Zimbabwe survived a defeat as the rain gods intervened at the right time to their rescue. They were on the brink of a defeat after they put up a score of 79 in 9 overs in a rain curtailed match. While bowling, they gave away 51 runs in 3 overs but there were heavy showers which abandoned the game. Both sides would eagerly look to get a win under their belt.
Pakistan vs Zimbabwe – 24th Match
Venue: Perth Stadium, Perth
Date & Time: 27th October at 4:30 PM IST
Live Streaming: Star Sports Network
The pace and bounce of the pitch in Perth is one of the fastest in the world. The pace of the wicket gives the bowlers some movement and nice carry in the early overs. Thus, it is a surface favoured by the bowlers in order to get some purchase and restrict the batters. The par score is expected to be around 150-160 runs.

Pakistan is full of experienced and young players in the t20 format. The batting order of this team is also strong and some well-known hitters of the t20 format are part of the squad of this team. The pace of Shaheen, Naseem and Harris would be really difficult to counter on a pacy Perth wicket. Pakistan have faced Zimbabwe seventeen times in T20I and the Pakistanis have got the better of their opponents in sixteen games, whereas Zimbabwe have got the better of their opponents only once. Pakistan look stronger on paper as compared to Zimbabwe, but yeah, be ready for upsets. Overall we are backing Pakistan to get the victory. Considering the team combination, Pakistan is expected to win this match.
