Pakistan Vs Australia: It’s been a long long time since two high-profile teams played just a one off T20I. Such games often don’t have much context, but in this case, seeing how the ODIs went, the Lahore crowd will not be any less excited than they were earlier.
The encounter is going to be a roadmap to the T20 World Cup and both these sides last faced off back in the semi-finals of the previous tournament. From that side though, only Stoinis, Finch, and Zampa are playing for Australia, and there are a lot of new faces.
Match: Pakistan Vs Australia
Date: 5th April 2022
Time: 9:00 PM
Venue: Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore
The days have been hot at Lahore but the night is expected to be cooler with dew setting in during the Australia Vs Pakistan game.
The pitch is good, it favors the batters but there is enough turn and bounce to keep bowlers expected. With dew expected, chasing is a better option in the Pakistan Vs Australia game.

- Pakistan have a lot of options in a 17 man squad and may bring back Shadab Khan, who has recovered from injury.
Babar Azam was on another plane in the ODI series, he batted well in all three games and will be eager to come back to the format which saw his rise in the game. He is a wonderful player and will look to build on his Test series masterclass and one-day dominance.
Aaron Finch seems to finally realize that his form is a concern. He struggled in the ODI’s getting out for very low scores and will be under a lot of pressure as his captaincy will begin to be questioned. With runs not coming, Aaron Finch may take his time and look to settle into a rhythm. If he does so, he will definitely be among the leading scorers in this game.
