MS Dhoni has led India to two World Cup championships while serving as the national captain. He is widely regarded as one of India’s most successful captains. Former India captain, he has won four titles as captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, as well as two World Cups.

Ambati Rayudu said the former captain was the best leader India’s ever produced, saying he was an example to the rest of the country. CSK’s wicketkeeper-batter was also credited with bringing the best out of him, and he expressed his desire to play for CSK in the future. “Dhoni Bhai gets the best out of me; he does the same thing for everyone in the team, hence, he is the best captain India has ever had,” Rayudu said in a recent interview.

”It has been an honor to be a part of CSK. Until now, we’ve won two IPLs and reached one final. The 2018 season was special for CSK, as it was a comeback season, and we won the IPL that year. Formally, I have not heard anything from CSK, but I hope to get picked up by them and have a successful league again in the near future,” he added.

Rayudu also recalled the incident where Vijay Shankar was selected over him in the World Cup squad, with the team selection referring to the former as a ‘3-D player’. In the days leading up to the World Cup. “It was a disappointment for me not to make the squad for the 2019 World Cup. CSK was very supportive during that time, and for that I am thankful,” Rayudu concluded.
