”It has been an honor to be a part of CSK. Until now, we’ve won two IPLs and reached one final. The 2018 season was special for CSK, as it was a comeback season, and we won the IPL that year. Formally, I have not heard anything from CSK, but I hope to get picked up by them and have a successful league again in the near future,” he added.
Rayudu also recalled the incident where Vijay Shankar was selected over him in the World Cup squad, with the team selection referring to the former as a ‘3-D player’. In the days leading up to the World Cup. “It was a disappointment for me not to make the squad for the 2019 World Cup. CSK was very supportive during that time, and for that I am thankful,” Rayudu concluded.
