Rajasthan Royals have overcome last years champions as they continue to move well. With the likes of Buttler, Hetmyer and Samson, RR has a pretty intimidating line-up capped with some nice young batters as well. Lucknow too are looking very balanced, indicating an interesting game on the cards.
Date: April 19th, 2023

Venue: Jaipur
The temperatures are rising in Jaipur with a warm evening very likely.
The Jaipur track is on the flatter side generally, but the large boundaries allow bowlers some cushion. Batting second though, with dew remains a better option.

Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin, trusting his off-break and cutting down on his variations a touch, has looked a lot more threatening this seasons. So far, he has been among the wickets and has also shelved the run flow nicely, and looks very confident this season.
Kyle Mayers
With his explosive hitting and medium pace up front, Kyle Mayers has made himself a tough candidate to leave out. He gives the Lucknow management a happy headache with Quinton De Kock coming back, leaving Lucknow wondering who to leave out.

Jos Buttler vs Mark Wood: England’s captain takes on England’s premier pacer. Jos Buttler, throughout his captaincy tenure has enjoyed unleashing Mark Wood on opponents, and now has a chance to face him, in what could be an interesting encounter between the Englishmen.
Both Rajasthan and Lucknow are well balanced this season. Rajasthan though, are firing better individually while Lucknow are still waiting for more collective performances. Home advantage is another factor, especially with Rajasthan having a great record at home.
