South Africa have five points from four games and come into this match in second place in the group. Netherlands beat Zimbabwe in their last clash but have already been eliminated from the tournament. South Africa had looked unstoppable before their defeat to Pakistan and they will want to show the rest of the tournament that they are unaffected by that game. We expect them to approach this match full of confidence. Netherlands put in a very impressive showing to beat Zimbabwe in their last match and could have won the game a lot earlier than when they did after 18 overs. However, South Africa will be a very tough opponent in Adelaide.
South Africa vs Netherlands – 40th Match
Venue: Adelaide Oval, Adelaide
Date & Time: 06th November at 05:30 AM IST
Live Streaming: Star Sports Network
It is an interesting surface in Adelaide with batters able to hit the ball cleanly at times but also at risk against slower balls gripping in the wicket. A par score will be around 170-175. After a tournament of cold evenings and wet conditions, this match will see sunshine and highs of 24 degrees.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update

Netherlands have talented batters and bowlers and have progressed as a side over the last 12 months. However, they are still many levels behind South Africa and we are expecting a one-sided match. Netherlands had every right to be delighted with their win over Zimbabwe in their last game, but in truth, they have come up short whenever they have played the strongest teams in this competition. South Africa’s bowling attack has been the best of all teams in the tournament and we expect more of the same in this match. We are backing South Africa to win this game. Considering the team combination, South Africa is expected to win this match.
