South Africa take on England in the opening game of a three-match ODI series in Bloemfontein on Friday afternoon. SA vs ENG, This match is part of the World Cup Super League which acts as the qualification route to the World Cup in India later this year. England have already qualified but South Africa have not. South Africa forfeited their recent ODI series in Australia in order to make room for their new T20 tournament. They are out of practice in this format and are up against a very strong England side. England lost their last three ODIs but they will be ready for this game in Bloemfontein. In an ODI World Cup year, expect England to prioritise this format as they look to defend their title.

There will be good pace in this wicket and a par score will be over 370. Spinners and quick bowlers have all had success on this pitch in ODIs previously. It will be a very warm afternoon in Bloemfontein with the temperature tailing off from a high of 30 degrees to the low 20s by the conclusion of the game.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update

Both teams have excellent players with both bat and ball but England have the self-belief built up from seven years of playing ODI cricket in this attacking manner and as the current World Champions. With the pace bowling attacks on both sides, this should be a very entertaining game for fans at the ground and viewers watching on TV. Our prediction is for England’s middle order to outscore South Africa and for England to go 1-0 up in the series. Considering the team combination, England is expected to win this match.
