The Asian champions have lived up to the expectations by putting up a clinical show in 2 consecutive games after going down pretty badly in the first game against Namibia. They have been hit by injuries pretty badly as their in form pacer Dushmantha Chameera is ruled out of the world cup. He would have been extremely handy in the Australian conditions. Sri Lanka will be facing Ireland straight up in the Super 12s, Ireland have hit some form in the last 2 games and it is going to be an exciting contest between these 2 sides. Sri Lanka will be banking on their spin twins once again to bail them in tricky situations.
Both teams have bounced back strongly after facing defeat in their first game and will be looking forward to continuing their winning momentum in the Super 12 stage.
Ireland vs Sri Lanka – 15th Match
Venue: Bellerive Oval, Hobart
Date & Time: 23rd October at 9:30 AM IST
Live Streaming: Star Sports Network
The Bellerive Oval’s pitch has historically been excellent for batting. Teams batting first have amassed more than 150 runs in 32 of the 39 T20 matches played at this location. In Hobart, teams that bat first and second have both had success. When comparing pace and spin, the spinners have had far more success at Bellerive Oval at the venue.
No Injury. It will be added when there is an update

Both the Underdog teams have been showing good cricket in the past few matches. Here, Sri Lanka is the strongest in both. They may get the benefits of some of the experienced players on the team. Whereas Ireland has not had enough of the experience. Both the teams have their players in form performing back-to-back in the matches played in the past. Sri Lanka is one of the strong favorites and they are carrying the momentum from the Asia cup championship. The side is more balanced, both on and off the paper. And will most likely start their super 12 campaign with a win in their first game. Considering the team combination, Sri Lanka is expected to win this match.
