Saint Lucia Kings will battle it out with Jamaica Tallawahs in the eliminator on Wednesday of the ongoing CPL 2022. This is a do-or-die match as the loser bows out of CPL. SLK finished third on the points table winning five games and losing four. Tallawahs finished fourth with the same number of wins. The St. Lucia Kings are coming into this match with a run of good form behind them. They have won three out of their previous four completed matches. Their batting looks to be coming good and Faf du Plessis even hit a century in his last inning. The Jamaica Tallawahs have just slowed down in recent matches and a slight break in matches would have done them good. They have a splendid bowling attack that is going to be their biggest weapon in this contest.
Played- 18 | SLK – 07 | JT– 11 | Tie- 0
Date: 28th September 2022
Time: 04:30 AM IST
Venue: Providence Stadium, Guyana
Humid from start to finish but we do not anticipate any rain to interrupt this game. Partly cloudy with the temperature over 28 degrees.
The conditions in Guyana are a bit overcast but the forecast improves by the time this match will start. We are really hoping for a match without interruptions because this contest deserves it! The pitch in Guyana has been getting slower as the matches have progressed and we have seen average scores come down. We could see another contest where 150-160 is very competitive.
Brandon King, Kennar Lewis (wk), Kirk McKenzie, Rovman Powell (c), Raymon Reifer, Fabian Allen, Mohammad Nabi, Imad Wasim, Chris Green, Migael Pretorius, Mohammad Amir
Faf du Plessis (c), Niroshan Dickwella (wk), Adam Hose, Roston Chase, Rivaldo Clarke, David Wiese, Roshon Primus, Alzarri Joseph, Scott Kuggeleijn, Jeavor Royal. Kesrick Williams
No one has scored more runs in an innings than King’s 104 against Guyana Amazon Warriors. He has top scored for the Tallawah’s in three games in this campaign.
No player has taken more wickets in the competition than the right-arm fast bowler. His best figures of 4-17 came in the Kings’ opening game of this year’s campaign.

One of these two out-of-form sides will be leaving the tournament after this game and the other will have another chance to progress and to re-find their form. We are expecting both teams to use an attacking approach and are backing Saint Lucia Kings to win. Their bowling lineup is far superior to what the St. Lucia Kings have and the matchup with their batters also favors the Tallawahs bowlers. In a crunch match, the side with proven international cricketers is always going to have a slight edge.
Match Prediction: Saint Lucia Kings Will Win the Match
