Gujarat Titans will fly to Delhi as they lock horns against the Delhi Capitals in match number 7 of IPL 2023 on 04th April 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Gujarat Titans, come to the contest after the nervy last over win over four-time champions Chennai Super Kings in the first game of the season. It was yet again the all-around performance that helped GT edge over CSK. Every individual including the impact player, chipped in with runs and wickets when needed, Shubman Gill was the stand-out performer with the bat scoring 36-ball 63 runs while Rashid Khan put up an all-round show by picking two important wickets with the ball and finishing things with the bat. Mohammad Shami achieved the feat of picking 100 IPL wickets during the previous game. Gujarat Titans have won 9 out of ten times batting second.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are coming home after a miserable loss against the Lucknow Super Giants in the third game. They succumbed to Mark Wood’s fiery pace in their first game and were left clueless. David Warner was the only positive as far as batting is concerned but he too played the knock with a below-par strike rate.  Khaleel Ahmed was the stand-out as he picked up 2-30 in his four-over spell and also achieved the feat of becoming the fastest Indian bowler to take 50 IPL wickets. Delhi would seek improved performance in both departments so as to bounce back the winning ways.
