The champions of 2016 Sunrisers Hyderabad and champions of 2008 Rajasthan Royals will meet each other in match number 4 of the Indian Premier League 2023 on April 2nd 2023 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a bad IPL to remember in the last edition as they finished eighth in the points table. The addition of Harry Brook gives them a strong balance in the batting department. Aiden Markram, after tasting success with Sunrisers Eastern Cape Town, is now being appointed as captain of SRH for the 2023 edition. Markram is expected to join a little later due to national commitments, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be leading SRH in the first few games.

Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have enjoyed the last IPL season as they finished the tournament as runners-up. Jos Buttler had the best of seasons last year as he completed as orange cap holder, whereas Yuzvendra Chahal completed the season with purple cap. Samson-lled RR would look to continue the winning-run in this season.
