1. Dinesh Karthik - 18 Ducks Dinesh Karthik is an experienced wicketkeeper-batsman who has featured for several teams in the IPL. Despite scoring several match-winning innings, he also holds the record of making 18 ducks. His attacking style of play at times leads to premature dismissals.

2. Glenn Maxwell - 18 Duck
Glenn Maxwell, a destructive batsman, has also not been spared in the IPL. Even though one of the most destructive batsmen, he has been dismissed for zero 18 times. His attacking game style leads to premature dismissals

3. Rohit Sharma - 18 Ducks Rohit Sharma, as great a batsman and captain as he is, also holds this record. Even though he has scored more than 6,000 IPL runs, he has been bowled out without scoring on 18 occasions. He often gets tough bowling attacks as an opener, which results in early dismissals.

Mr. Maxwell helps his team win lots. Nathan Ellis, the captian  of the Hobart Hurricanes team, decided his team would bowl first. The Melbourne Stars batted at the start, and they wanted to score a lot of runs. Glenn Maxwell, who is a top rate cricket player from Australia, was amazing at hitting the ball. Mr. Maxwell hit the ball very hard and it went really far, over the fence, six times!

Also, he hit it to places where no one was there four times. Maxwell has been playing really, really good lately. Mr. Maxwell has scored more than fifty runs three times in a row in these games. When he was to bat now, he was really great again and helped his team achieve a large score. Apart from Maxwell, Beau Webster also chipped in with a valuable 51 runs off 31 balls, ensuring that the Stars posted a good total. The pair put on a partnership that crushed the Hurricanes’ bowling attack, leaving them with a daunting chase.

Maxwell’s innings was nothing short of extraordinary. He scored 90 runs off just 52 balls, single-handedly propelling the Stars to a competitive total of 165. His knock included an impressive 10 sixes and 4 fours. At one point, the Stars were struggling at 75 for 7, but Maxwell’s innings turned the tide. He found an unlikely partner in Usama Mir, who contributed zero runs from five balls but stood firm at the crease during their crucial 81-run partnership. Washington Sundar- INR 3.2 Crores (Gujarat Titans)

Washington Sundar was among the most remarkable Indian all-rounders at the auction, and many expected him to sell for a high price. However, he eventually signed with the Gujarat Titans for INR 3.20 crores. GT defeated Lucknow Super Giants in a bidding battle to gain his contract. 

He is a wily off-spinner who has recently been in excellent form. Sundar has played 60 IPL matches and taken 37 wickets at an economy rate of 7.54. He has also scored 378 runs with a strike rate of more than 116, which might help the Titans' lower middle-order batting lineup.

While the 36-year-old Glenn Maxwell is desperate to make a comeback in Test cricket, his hope has been facing another barrier as his injury has forced him to stay on the sideline from the crucial upcoming first-class matches. 

The cricket world knows Glenn Maxwell very well in the limited-overs formats. In both ODI and T20I formats, Maxwell has set his image in the special frames, which is hard to replace in the future. However, Maxwell’s Test return has become tougher after the latest hamstring injury. During the last T20I against Pakistan at Hobart, while Australia completed a 3-0 home series win, Maxwell sustained a hamstring injury. Later, it was diagnosed with a grade two hamstring injury. 

After the first Test and before the second Test of the five-match Test series against the visitors India in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the Prime Minister’s XI will play a two-day pink-ball match against India at Canberra. Maxwell was reportedly expected to be selected for that game, which would be marked as his first-class cricket return after more than a year.

Meanwhile, Maxwell was also expected to be available for the next Sheffield Shield match against Queensland at Melbourne, starting on December 6.

Maxwell's last Test match

Maxwell last played a Test match in September 2017 when Australia toured Bangladesh. In seven Tests, the all-rounder scored 339 runs in 14 innings with an average of 26.07, including one century. As an off-spinner, he has also picked up eight wickets in his Test career.

Maxwell’s Test return can be possible for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour, where Australia will play a two-match away Test series, which will be a part of the 2023-2025 ICC World Test Championship. However, his opportunity in first-class cricket is unlikely to happen this year, which is a major blow for him for the Sri Lanka tour selection, especially for the Test series.
