MS Dhoni is a big name in the Indian Premier League (IPL) even now, many years after he has left international cricket At the age of 43 the great cricketer is as passionate about the game as he was in his youth. He has been the captain of India in their successful runs to the Champions Trophy in 2013, the World Cup in 2011and the World T20 in 2007. Dhoni made his last appearance for India in June 2019 and then retired from international cricket in August 2019. Though in stepping aside from the international his passion for the game is still as intense. Since the establishment of the IPL,Dhoni has been the pillar of the Chennai Super Kings  and continues to play for them with absolute dedication.

Speculations About Retirement in IPL 2025 :

Cricket supporters are actively consider the future of Dhoni participation in the IPL as the IPL 2025, season gets closer One of the main questions is whether the CSK captain will hang up his boots at the end of the season. There is a lot of talk, but at the moment, Dhoni himself has not revealed anything concrete, so the supporters remain in a state of ambiguity.

CSK Keeps Dhoni for IPL 2025 :

Prior to the 2025 season, CSK retained Dhoni for 4 crore, the lowest he has received in his IPL career. This is following a recent policy change by the Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI. The new policy stipulates that players who have not participated in any form of international cricket in over five years are deemed uncapped which significantly impacts their pay scales.

Dhoni's Take on His Future:

At a recent cricket event, Dhoni was asked about his future in cricket, to which he had this to say."For the last whatever few years I just want to enjoy playing cricket like I did when I played cricket as a child” he seems to be saying that he is focused on relishing every moment while he is still on the field rather than defining a deadline for retirement. This is quite the unique approach for many would  rather rigidly adhere to a set retirement age.

What Lies Ahead?

While eagerly awaiting any official confirmation regarding his participation in the league, all cricket fans will be watching the 2025 IPL and his performance As of right now Captain Cool "Thala" continues to lead CSK with the passion and commitment that have defined his career . His legacy in Indian cricket cannot be replaced even if this is his final season.

The Ultimate Crossover That Happened To Exist--

Although cricket and anime seem to be at the opposite ends of the spectrum, let's face the truth there are already several cricketers who are personifications of certain iconic anime characters in and out of the field.

These cricket stars, with their incredible skills and unique playing styles, some of these cricket stars might just be great heroes/villains in a new anime series. Imagine a world where cricket and anime collide, where some cricketers resemble anime heroes and villains alike.

1. Virat Kohli as Naruto Uzumaki

Famous anime character Naruto Uzumaki is a perfect example of somebody with burning passion, drive and never say die attitude. Virat Kohli, star of Indian cricket team same characters in him like those of an Indian cricket teams. Naruto-like perseverance; Kohli has often been painted performing against the odds. His power powered strokeplay, competitive nature and leadership are fitting to turn Naruto. Like Naruto always fighting to be the best, so has Kohli in his journey to become one of the top world cricket player.

2. MS Dhoni as Goku

MS Dhoni, India's erstwhile captain in calmness & strategic mind similar to Dragon Ball Z character Goku. Just like Goku the God warrior that can always maintain his cool under pressure and continue striving for self development in every aspect; Dhoni's coolness on field is the real thing. To me, the way Dhoni leads the team under stress particularly in the death overs is very much like Goku leading from front in climax battles. Moreover, they are both equally humble folks who will always back it up with their actions.

3.AB de Villiers as Luffy

AB de villiers the instable cricketer of South Africa who bats in the extreme end, similar to Odessey and the Sea Monkey D. Luffy from one piece in the qualities he is full creative, adventurous and has zero regard for the known methods as he always surprises our opponents with his own take on fighting. Like Luffy at the sea — AB de Villiers with his form changing play continues to bring unpredictability and sheer fun to cricket.

4. Kane Williamson as Sasuke Uchiha

Kane Williamson, current captain of New Zealand's cricket team bears resemblance to Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto. They are both very collected and reflective by nature — both characters. Although Williamson's classed calm determination and high school baseball helps come the mental approach of Sasuke and his concentration in high stake moments makes them equal tough players. Sasuke is really no different than the New-standards Williamson is up against in international hockey.

5.Chris Gayle as All Might

All Might from my hero academia, the super hero in Homura's ring so it has to be the West Indian powerhouse Chris Gayle West Indian super-batting macho man bakabombay Gayle with his massive sixes has an All Might like handsome with cruelty personality in real world. Both have their place in the hearts of fans, one for the confidence Gayle some how manages too deliver when it’s time. Gayle and All Might just blow away in their respective stories like demolition in real life.

If India faces problem Dhoni come out and win the match for his team, same like Goku solve any problems.

2.Virat Kohli as Naruto

The Naruto Signature over here; Hard work, dedication and determination. He never dies, when the heat is turned up high. Virat Kohli of many ways resembles Naruto. He trains hard everyday and plays very hard too, always striving to get better. Virat Kohli's journey in cricket teaches us just like Naruto became a one and only strong ninja with the right amount of dedication and hard work. A perfect Naruto, Kohli’s on field intensity and fire with the guy.

One Piece's Luffy is a character who loves adventure. He is always up for a challenge and loves every bit of it. AB de Villiers is similar to Luffy when he plays cricket. "Thoda Aur" – A Sentiment of Millions:
Speaking to the media, Sanju Samson explained, "Whenever people say Dhoni should retire from IPL, I only think 'Thoda Aur' for Dhoni. And this "Thoda Aur" (a little more) has become a catchphrase for what millions of cricket fans feel about the former Indian captain

Not just admiration for an individual, but also echoing the sentiment of an entire generation having grown up watching Dhoni the masterstrokes he played. Whether it’s his helicopter shots, strategic captaincy, or ability to absorb pressure, Dhoni’s aura in the IPL is nothing but magical.

Beyond the Numbers – The Dhoni Impact:

MS Dhoni continues to be the cornerstone for CSK even at 42. He might not be batting as often as before, but just having him in the dressing room and on the field makes his teammates feel a lot more confident. His game awareness, calm decision making, and unparalleled experience make him an irreplaceable asset.

Let’s picture the world of cricket as if it were scripted sports entertainment, with its promos and betrayals and over-the-top feuds.

The Ultimate Heel: David Warner

Like every great wrestling story, it needed a top bad guy and David Warner is it. With his combative on-field persona, volatile temperament and background of controversies , Warner would make an ideal heel. Picture Warner racing out to the crease, delivering heel promos and flaunting dismissals. He loved leaning into being the villain, heckling the other players, working up the audience into a frenzied bitterness and looked an awfully lot like a familiar video game villain.

In second place:

Virat Kohli:  His intensity, fishy celebrations and passionate sledging would have jeopardized his "villain' tag in the enemy camp.

Gautam Gambhir:  Gambhir’s no-nonsense approach and his tussles with the opposition mean he is never found wanting for back-and-forths, making him a natural villain.

The Ultimate Babyface: MS Dhoni

Every wrestling promotion needs an overbabyface, and when it comes to cricket, there’s no bigger babyface than MS Dhoni. Level-headed in a crisis, adored by fans across the globe and a late-over finish wizard, Dhoni is the picture of heroism. Imagine the sound of the entrance music that accompanies Dhoni so perfectly for so many years, while the fans are cheering and falling over themselves while he walks to the crease, his eyes glazed. He is always controlled, the ideal hero against the game’s most infamous heels.

In second place:

Sachin Tendulkar: Tendulkar is the most loved cricketer in history — the John Cena of cricket for always fighting for the audience, no matter which team they support, respected by all players and the epitome of sportsmanship.

Kane Williamson: The nice guy of cricket that all sport needs, Williamson’s sportsmanship and disposition are too good to pass up for a fairytale.

Nations Over Cricket: An Iconic Feuds in a Cricket-WWE Universe

Warner vs Dhoni (Corporate Champion vs People’s Champion) – it’s Warner the cocky heel, fronting a frillionaire IPL party, versus Dhoni the man of the people who plays for the love of the game.

Kohli vs. Smith (The Intensity Showdown) – An ultra-competitive battle between two skillful players, aggressive in their styles and prepared to get into each other head.

Gambhir vs. Kohli (Faction Warfare) – It actually has in real life! Now actually visualize doing this two top rival stables paving the way for the largest faction war in cricket WWE history.

If cricket had ever taken a leaf out of the WWE playbook, global sporting field would be an entertainment flow like never before. The sledging would become scripted promos, the rivalries played up as grudge matches, and every match larger-than-life storytelling. Until then, all we can do is savour the natural drama of cricket the way it plays out in real life, which-let’s be real-at times follows the well-trodden path of WWE!
