Nitish Rana's explosive 81 off 36 balls led RR to a respectable total of 182/9. During CSK's innings, Shivam Dube already looked dangerous when Parag produced a moment of magic in the 10th over.

KKR’s dominant win over Rajasthan Royals:

Parag, leading the RR team again, failed to bat well and got caught by Quinton de Kock off Varun Chakaravarthy’s bowling, scoring close to 0. Rajasthan posted an under-par score of 151/9, with the top scorer being Dhruv Jurel with 33. KKR’s bowlers, Chakaravarthy, Moeen Ali, Harshit Rana, and Vaibhav Arora, grab two wickets each.

KKR easily outdoes the target, scoring 153/2 in only 18.5 overs, with Quinton de Kock's lively half-century being the catalyst for the chase. KKR victoriously defeated the opponent with 8 wickets; thus, they are still at the top of the IPL table.

Rajasthan Royals regular captained Sanju Samson has decided to play as regular batter for first three matches due the small injury which occured in his thumb during the series against England where Jofra Archer ball struck into his left thumb. He underwent on to minor surgery to thumb in last february which anticipated the small recovery gap and after the green signal from physios and doctors he is been allowed to play the IPL. 

However, for the betterment of the surgery and to focus more on the batting aspect, Sanju has decided to step down as captain for the first three matches. Sanju was also part of the ICC T20 World Cup team which was won by Team India last year. The issue initiated when it was alleged that the YouTube search history of Parag was searching for Bollywood actresses. The screenshot caught fire and, with mixed reactions, became a meme across the social media circles. On the podcast, Parag recalled the details of what transpired during the incident. According to him, it was after an IPL match, streaming with his friends on Discord.
