As the big names will be rested prior to the T20 World Cup, Sanju Samson may be given the vice-captaincy of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa. According to a report, Samson’s impressive time with the “Indian A” team may lead him to become Shikhar Dhawan’s deputy, who will once again lead the team.

According to the report, Samson was close to making the Indian team for the T20 World Cup, but he was unable to because of competition for spots.
