Australian cricketer Will Pucovski has retired from all forms of cricket at the tender age of 27. The brilliant right-handed batsman chose to hang up his boots after he was battling with long-term symptoms of multiple concussions during his brief career. While he was a giant of a young gun in cricket in Australia, his illnesses proved difficult for him to continue playing.

Pucovski had gained many head injuries over the years, the most recent happening in March 2024 when a bouncer struck him on his helmet.
Ever since, he has been experiencing terrifying symptoms such as weakness on one side of the body, motion sickness, perpetual tiredness, headaches, and poor sleep. These symptoms have not just impacted his game but also complicated his daily life.

Even though he was signed to play for Victoria during the last season, he didn't see the field even once.A group of physicians advised him that if he continues to play, his condition may deteriorate.
After deep thought, he took the tough but rational decision of retiring from cricket to maintain his health and well-being in the future.
