TRT vs OVI: TRT are going well this series but will have to start battling a player exodus. Rashid Khan is already out and they are going to lose Joe Root to national duty. They have three wins in four games and a decent backup to cover for both players and should be able to battle the loss of players. OVI should have their side intact. They have quality all-rounders in the Curran brothers and Sunil Narine, while Will Jacks is doing well at the top. As a team they are pretty settled and should start finding results consistently as the tournament moves on.

The evening is nice warm and clear for the TRT vs OVI fixture.
The track is flat and will allow the ball to come onto the bat nicely. A lot of runs are expected and batting second is the better option.

Sam Curran is enjoying a nice period after recovering from a serious back injury. He is doing well with both bat and ball, contributing and taking the responsibility to come up the order as well while batting. With Curran taking wickets and finishing at a good pace, he has the ability to make an impact throughout the 200 balls of the game.
With Joe Root out, the responsibility to bat hold the innings at a good pace falls on Dawid Malan. Malan has already shown his ability to shift gears with ease and is in really good form this season. He is batting very well, and will probably enjoy the additional responsibility as a senior member in the batting line-up.
Both teams possess handy all-rounders. While TRT’s all-rounders are more or less leaning towards one skill, OVI’s look better at both skills together. They have a strong trio of allrounders in the Curran brothers and Narine, while Narine can choke opponents with the ball on his own with ease. With a strong set of all-rounders, and a good batting line-up OVI are in with a slight advantage. They look very balanced and are in form with the likes of Will Jacks scoring consistently.
