SOB vs MNR: MNR are yet to win a game while SOB has one win on them at the moment. Both sides are struggling to match the intensity of the Hundred and will want to find a way to get back up quickly. Both sides are missing some key players, and unlike the others, they do not have too much batting depth or all-round options, which is proving to be a key formula this season.

Match: SOB vs MNR
Date: 18th August 2022
Time: 11:30 PM IST
Venue: The Rose Bowl, Southampton
The evening is nice warm and clear for the SOB vs MNR fixture.
The track is flat and will allow the ball to come onto the bat nicely. A lot of runs are expected and batting second is the better option.
Quinton De Kock, James Vince, Joe Weatherley, Alex Davies(wk), Tim David, Marcus Stoinis, Craig Overton, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills, Michael Hogan, Jake Lintott
Jos Buttler (c,wk), Phil Salt, Laurie Evans, Wayne Madsen, Ashton Turner, Andre Russell, Jamie Overton, Ollie Robinson, Calvin Harrison, Matt Parkinson, Daniel Worral
Jos Buttler is getting starts but with a light middle order behind him the team is struggling to make use of his starts. Ideally, a line-up with him and Russell will look very explosive, but with Buttler not batting through like he did in the IPL, his team is struggling to find stability with their inexperienced middle-order.
Marcus Stoinis is starting to come into his groove as a finisher. In the previous game he found some runs and was pretty good with his stroke play. With Tim David in the side, Stoinis has a nice partner to finish an innings and his bowling is a handy addition as well for his team.

Both teams are struggling to find wins. The lack of all-rounders, player availability and batting depth is hitting both teams. Both teams though still have a lot of quality, and players who can make a huge difference on their day. Picking a winner is tough given the large number of match-winners on both sides, however, with the likes of Vince doing well this season, and finishers in Stoinis and David, SOB are the side to watch out for.
