WEF vs NOS: WEF are on their way out as they have no win in six games. This has been a very tough tournament for what is a pretty young squad. The absence of Jonny Bairstow took the steam out of their core, leaving a handful of young players. NOS are not having a great time as well. They are hanging on but need some nice performances if they are to jump up the table. With players starting to leave for the Asia Cup and CPL, NOS will have to battle with some player loss.

Match: WEF vs NOS
Date: 26th August 2022
Time: 11:30 PM IST
Venue: Sophia Gardens, Cardiff
The evening is nice warm and clear for the WEF vs NOS fixture.
The Cardiff track has been good for batting and a lot of runs are expected. Batting second will be a better option.
Tom Banton, Joe Clarke, Sam Hain, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Josh Cobb, Jacob Bethell, Ryan Higgins, David Payne, Noor Ahmed, Adam Zampa
Faf Du Plessis, Harry Brook, Adam Lyth, Luke Wright, John Simpson, David Willey, David Wiese, Dwayne Bravo, Adil Rashid, Wahab Riaz, Matthew Potts.
Joe Clarke has not had the greatest of seasons both here and in the other domestic competitions. He is a talented wicket-keeper and opener who has decent credentials from previous seasons. This season though, his side is missing him and now with Tom Banton out they will need Joe Clarke to provide them momentum at the top badly.
Faf Du Plessis has struggled for consistency this season. He is getting starts but is failing to kick on and get big scores. At 38, scrutiny will be high and Faf Du Plessis will hope to find a big score soon, silencing critics who are likely to show up on the way.

Both teams are struggling and NOS are likely to loose some players in the upcoming game. Despite the lack of players though, NOS will back themselves here given WEF’s form
