OVI vs NOS: NOS came up with some experiments in the previous game. They sent Dwayne Bravo up the order, a place be would bat back in his prime, and tried utiliizing his batting better. He looked good and is a capable batter in that position but couldnt deliver. David Wiese though was the one who saved NOS, as they looked good with bat and ball until Dawid Malan took the game away from them.
OVI are in a pretty decent position themselves. While Jason Roy’s form continues to be an issue the other batters are stepping up pretty well. They may not have too many stars, but there is a lot of talent, and if Jason Roy finds himself they will look like serious title contenders.
Played- 1 | OVI- 0 | NOS- 1 | No Result- 0
Match: OVI vs NOS
Date: 11th August 2022
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Kennington Oval, London
The weather seems is nice and warm with temperatures in the late 20s and early 30s during the OVI vs NOS fixture.
The Kennington Oval track is fresh and likely to be hard, providing opportunities for the batters. Batting second is a better option on the track.
Jason Roy, Will Jacks, Sam Billings(wk), Hilton Cartwright, Jack Leaning, Sunil Narine, Will Jacks, Jack Haynes, Reece Topley, Mohammad Hasnain, Matt Milnes
Faf Du Plessis, Harry Brook, Adam Lyth, Luke Wright, John Simpson, David Willey, David Wiese, Dwayne Bravo, Adil Rashid, Wahab Riaz, Matthew Potts
Will Jacks is one of those players who silently find their names in most T20 leagues around the World. In the last year he has gone around to the BPL, CPL and PSL. In all three leagues, as an opener he has made a mark. While he isnt the most flashy cricket, his conistency creates a surprise factor as it did in OVIs first game as he made a commanding 81.
David Wiese is one of the better but underrated all-rounders going around now. He is another player who is involved in a lot of franchise cricket and he has made his mark on this seasons Hundred. With his team struggling, Wiese played a counter-attacking fifty to announce himself. His bowling is still yet to make a mark but he is a player who knows how to contribute at any stage of the game.
Liam Livingstone is continuing from where he left off last season. Five sixes and no wasted balls as he crashed his way to a 47. He also chipped in with a wicket and looks in ominous form. With a lot of hitters in this tournament, it will be interesting to see where Livingstone finishes amongst them as he comes in looking very good.

Both teams are full of strong players. While NOS has some strong names though, OVI has players who are in pretty good forms and that may give them the edge in this contest.
