Two weeks into the tournament and Barbados Royals look firm favorites already. Last season they struggled terribly to get wins on the board but are playing at a different level this time around. Bosch and Kyle Mayers together are doing well all round and Jason Holder’s presence has also been a bonus.
TKR are looking like a shadow of themselves. The performances are not coming and Nicholas Pooran’s form is becoming a worry. They are in desperate need of a boost here and have a lot of work to do going forward.
Played- 20 | BR – 08 | TKR– 12 | Tie- 0
Date: 14th September 2022
Time: 04:30 AM IST
Venue: Port of Spain, Trinidad
The weather at Trinidad is pretty good with no chance of rain.
The Port of Spain track tends to be dry and with a slope running across the ground there could be some uneven bounce. Despite some assistance to the bowlers, batting should be easy and chasing will be a better option.
Sunil Narine, Tion Webster, Nicholas Pooran, Tim Seifert (wk), Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard (c), Seekkuge Prasanna, Terrance Hinds, Khary Pierre, Anderson Phillip, Ravi Rampaul
David Miller (c), Azam Khan, Corbin Bosch, Devon Thomas, Kyle Mayers, Quinton de Kock (wk), Jason Holder, Justin Greaves, Hayden Walsh, Obed McCoy, Oshane Thomas
Corbin Bosch has been a revelation for BR this season. He is batting well, has chipped in while fielding and is contribution all through the game. His presence helps the side big time as they are looking a transformed team with Bosch stepping up.
Nicholas Pooran‘s form is a growing concern. He is failing to make an impact and with the World Cup coming up West Indies has a big concern ahead.

TKR are a good side but has looked like a shadow of their pastselves. BR though are in incredible form and are impressing each day. With five wins in five games they will back themselves in the upcoming game.
Match Prediction: Barbados Royals Will Win the Match
