TATA IPL 2022 auction is scheduled for February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. There will be no further auctions of players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after the 15th edition of the tournament as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) wishes to get rid of the concept since most franchisees do not want their core to be tinkered with.
To be eligible to enroll in the auction, U19 players must have played at least one first-class match or List A match. There are also players Aaron Hardie, Lance Morris, Nivethan Radhakrishnan, Agnivesh Ayachi, Hardik Tamore, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Mihir Hirwani, Monu Kumar, Rohan Rana, and Sairaj Patil added. The other members of the jury are all from India, including Hardie, Morris, and Radhakrishnan. As for this year’s auction, more than 10 cricketers will cross the Rs 10 crore range and some are expected to cross close to Rs 20 crore, making this the most likely year for Indian million-dollar purchases (Rs 7.5 crore and above).
There are several players in the 600 who were part of the winning Under-19 World Cup squad. Some players, such as U-19 vice-captain Shaik Rasheed, wicketkeeper Dinesh Bana, Ravi Kumar, Nishant Sindhu, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Manav Parakh, Garv Sangwan, Siddharth Yadav, and Aaradhya Yadav, however, are not eligible for the auction as they are not yet players.
