An old video of Gautam Gambhir giving his Man of The Match Award is widely being shared on the internet after Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir engaged in a verbal fight on Monday.

After the IPL 2023 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Ekana Stadium, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were seen having heated exchanges. The graveness of the matter can be ascertained from the fact that both of them were fined 100% of their match fees. It is to be noted that this was not the first time that both players engaged in an on-field fight.

In the year 2013, when Gautam Gambhir was the skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders a similar incident happened and it has been noticed that their relations are not very good on the field ever since then.

However, it was not the same during Virat Kohli’s initial days in Team India. Gautam Gambhir used to back Virat and even handed over his Player of The Match Award to Virat Kohli when the latter scored his maiden international ton against Sri Lanka.
