WI-W vs NZ-W Key Players
Amelia Kerr
Amelia Kerr did a really good job with the ball, restricting West Indies to an achievable total. Her three wickets put the brakes on their innings and as she did not allow them to build partnerships. While she failed with the bat, she still remains a threat in either half of the game.
Aaliyah Alleyne
In a low scoring game, Alleyne held her nerve pretty well as she took West Indies to a score that looked of some substance. Her attacking style of play worked well, a she appeared to play on a different track from the rest. West Indies will hope she continues her form and does a similar job in the upcoming games.
West Indies are in the lead now but still have a task ahead as New Zealand remain a strong side and will be eager to fightback. Their is some depth in both teams and with tough batting conditions the toss will remain a key factor. Overall though, despite the loss, New Zealand will be favorites.
