Yashasvi Jaiswal, a young Indian opening batter who played for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2023 and had a breakout season in domestic cricket, was selected for the first time for India. The final match of WTC 2023 will be between Rohit Sharma’s team and Australia at the Oval in London from June 7 to 11. India took second place in the WTC 2021-23 points table, with Australia coming out on top.
Indian players are planning to make a trip to England in three groups. The first set, which included Shardul Thakur, R Ashwin, Virat Kohli, and Axar Patel, arrived in England last week, and the second set will arrive on Monday. In a few days, the third set, in which players like Mohammed Shami, Ajinkya Rahane, and Ravindra Jadeja will participate, will depart. They are currently participating in the IPL 2023 final, which was moved to reserve day after no play on Sunday (May 28) in Ahmedabad was allowed due to rain.
