The second game in Pool B of the 2022 T20 World Cup sees Zimbabwe and Ireland go head to head on Monday evening in Tasmania. Zimbabwe did not take part in last year’s competition as they were suspended from international tournaments during the qualifying period. Ireland finished third in Pool A in 2021. Zimbabwe return to the T20 World Cup with some experienced players. They should be competitive against Ireland but may lack enough batting depth. Ireland have tested themselves against top teams this year including India, New Zealand, South Africa and Afghanistan this summer. They will consider themselves favourites for this game.
Zimbabwe vs Ireland – 4th Match
Venue: Bellerive Oval – Hobart
Date & Time: 17th October at 1:30 PM IST

There will be something in this pitch for the pace bowlers and the spinners. Expect the overhead conditions to also produce some swing. It will get progressively more humid as the game develops but the temperature will most likely be below 10 degrees by the end of the match.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update

Both teams have been in good form over recent games in this format but it is Ireland who have been testing itself against stronger sides. In a tough group, which also includes Scotland and West Indies, both Zimbabwe and Ireland will feel that they need to win this match to give themselves the best chance of finishing in the top two. We are predicting a contest where both teams get on top at times but are backing Ireland to get the win. Considering the team combination, Ireland is expected to win this match.
