Netherlands are out of the World Cup. They have had some nice performances in the ongoing tournament, but with zero points after three games their hopes of going to the next round are done. Zimbabwe though are still in it. They lost a nailbiter to Bangladesh, with some poor batting and fielding under pressure. A win their would have strengthened their chances of making the next round, but now they are in by a small margin, needing to win both games and hoping other results go their way.
Played- 4 | Netherlands – 1 | Zimbabwe – 2 | No Result- 0 | Tie- 1
Date: 2nd November 2022
Time: 9:30 AM IST
Venue: Adelaide
The tournament shifts to Adelaide and the weather at this half of Australia looks a lot better.
Although there are some long boundaries, the Adelaide Oval is highly favorable to batters. Batting first though will still be a better option.
Vikramjeet Singh, Scott Edwards, Stephan Myburg, Tom Cooper, Tim Pringle, Roloef Van Der Merwe, Fred Klaassen, Shariz Ahmed, Colin Ackermann, Bas De Leede, Logan Van Beek

Colin Ackermann took Netherlands very close against Bangladesh. He batted with no support and almost took them over the line single-handedly. His innings though, highlights Netherlands batting depth, and he will be a key player for them given his form and start in the tournament.
In the last few months, Sikandar Raza has been in some really good form. He is Zimbabwe’s best player at the moment and will be a big factor as Zimbabwe look to extend their run and fight for a semi finals spot.
