Zimbabwe vs India: Zimbabwe win a series against Bangladesh. They are going to come into this series with some confidence and will hope to challenge India. While a series win is tough, they definitely will try and get close especially with Sikandar Raza in strong form. Zimbabwe last beat India back in 2010, and will be hoping to get a win against a depleted side.
Although India are depleted, their players are full of experience. They are using players who were tried out over the last few months, and most of them have some experience playing for India. There is also a lot of IPL experience, which will make a difference as India look to strengthen their bench. This could be their last opportunity to try fringe players as the full side is likely to be in the team during the Asia Cup and the Australian and South Africa series that take place before the T20 World Cup. The series marks the return of Deepak Chahar and KL Rahul

The weather at Harare is clear with a few clouds during the Zimbabwe vs India game.
The surface in the last ODI series was pretty flat. Runs are expected to come with ease and high scores are likely the upcoming fixture. Batting first is a better option.
Regis Chakbava(c), Tarisai Musakanda, Innocent Kala, Wessley Madhevere, Sikandar Raza, Luke Jongwe, Milton Shumba, Ryan Burl, Victor Nyauchi, Richard Ngavara, Wellington Masakadza
Shikhar Dhawan, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Sanju Samson, Deepak Hooda, Axar Patel, Deepak Chahar, Avesh Khan, Shardul Thakur/ Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav
After a groin injury and Covid, KL Rahul is finally back in the Indian team. While he opens in T20 cricket, he will likely bat in the middle-order here. Some rustiness is expected given the gap, but the tour will give him a nice chance to find his rhythm ahead of the Asia Cup.
Sikandar Raza has been in top form over the last month. He is scoring runs with ease and has a lot of experience. He has played India a lot in the past but never would have felt as confident as he is now. With confidence and runs under his belt he will feel he has it in him to get Zimbabwe their first win against India since 2010, in ODIs,
Zimbabwe are playing some nice cricket but will have a challenge ahead of them. While KL Rahul and Deepak Chahar are likely to be rusty, the rest of the team is full of quality and is probably ahead of Zimbabwe in skill. The difference in skill is evident and will make it tough for Zimbabwe, who will give a strong fight nevertheless.
