“If I had about 20 minutes with him, I would be able to tell him the things he might have to do. It might help him. I am not saying it will help him but it could. Particularly with regards to that off-stump line my advice can help”
Gavaskar had told India Today.
Will Kohli shine in the Asia Cup? Kohli could manage scores of just 11 and 20 in the fifth and last Test against Edgbaston and proceeded with his poor performance in T20Is, where he could score just 12 runs in two innings.
This was followed by 17 and 16 runs in the three-match ODI series against England.
Likewise, Kohli had a disappointing IPL 2022. He could score just 341 runs in 16 games at a normal of 22.73. His strike rate also has been going down by the day. In IPL 2022 he scored just with a strike pace of 115.98.
