After the series began on Sunday evening in Perth, Australia and England fly across the country to Canberra for the second game on Wednesday evening. England got off to a winning start on this trip to Australia with an eight-run win in Western Australia. By welcoming back their top bowlers, we expect Australia to be closer to England than what we saw in Perth. If they can bat with the same controlled aggression then they will be very competitive. England is coming into form at just the right time ahead of the T20 World Cup but will probably rest pace bowler Mark Wood for this game. Without Wood’s pace, they lose the ability to take wickets with genuine pace.
Australia vs England – 2nd T20I
Venue: Manuka Oval – Canberra
Date & Time: 12th October at 01:40 PM IST
Live Streaming: Sony Sports Network
The Perth Stadium pitch is not as hard and bouncy as its near neighbor the WACA. However, expect a quick surface with a par score over 170. Cloudy from start to finish in Canberra with the temperature dropping from 16 degrees to 13 degrees with the humidity levels climbing.
No Injury. It will be added when there is an update

We are anticipating another close game to follow up the eight-run difference between the sides on Sunday. England are slight favourites ahead of the match. With Australia’s best bowlers coming back and England’s strike-bowler likely to be rested, it could be argued that the home side should win easily. However, England’s other pace bowlers could exploit the conditions in Canberra. The opening game of the series delivered 408 runs and 15 wickets in a very entertaining clash. We do not expect to see as many runs but 15 wickets or more could well be on display. We anticipate Australia to come back strongly in this match but are backing England to win a close contest. Considering the team combination, England is expected to win this match.
