Virat Kohli was photographed wearing a high-altitude mask and sprinting on the ground. When unable to physically ascend very far above sea level, one can simulate high altitude conditions by wearing a high-altitude training mask. Professional athletes and players use it to reap any potential benefits from training at such high elevations. The front adjustable channels and valves on this mask allow the user to modify how much oxygen they receive.

The body adjusts to the reduced intake of life-giving gas when wearing this mask, which causes the heart and lungs to work harder. After removing it, the body experiences a significant boost in performance as it becomes accustomed to the limited oxygen and improves its utilisation of it. An athlete has a competitive advantage because of this. The rest of his teammates were also seen practising batting, catching, and bowling while jogging.

Regarding his batting performance, Virat Kohli has received a lot of criticism.

Since his previous international century, which occurred more over a thousand days ago, Kohli has played for India in 70 matches, making 2,648 runs in 84 innings, averaging 34.84 runs per innings. Since his previous international century, he has scored 25 half-centuries in all formats. For Kohli, 2022 in particular, has been quite difficult.

Kohli has only participated in six T20I matches for his team this year, during which he has scored 175 runs at an average of 35.00. This year, he has a best score of 59* in the format. In this format, he has scored two half-centuries for India.

He has played for India in 18 matches across all forms this year, however in 21 innings, he has only managed to score 570 runs at an average of 28.50

Only five half-centuries, with a top score of 79, have come off his bat. He has, however, so far performed well in the Asia Cup. He has scored 94 runs at an average of 94 in his first two games. His top mark versus Hong Kong was an undefeated 59*. Next to Pakistan’s Mohammed Rizwan, who has 121 runs in two games, he has scored the second-most runs in the tournament so far.
