Comilla Victorians Vs Minister Group Dhaka is the 20th game of the season, and the second time both sides face off. In the first meeting between both sides, Dhaka enjoyed an easy win through a dominant performance from Faf Du Plessis. His knock allowed Dhaka to win by a solid fifty runs.
Both sides are in a similar position with six points. They have decent line-ups and have put up some good individual performances. Minister Group however has played more games and lost two games more than Comilla.

Match: Comilla Victorians Vs Minister Group Dhaka
Date: 4th February 2022
Time: 18:00 IST
Venue: Mirpur
The evening is going to be chilly with some wind around. There is rain in the forecast and there could be some interruptions in the Comilla Victorians Vs Minister Group Dhaka fixture.
The pitch will be used twice a day, but with rain and cool weather around there may not be as much wear. The outfield could also be wet due to the rain, making it tough for spinners, despite the natural softness in the pitch. Batting second is a better choice if rain plays a role before or during the game.
Comilla Victorians: Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Cameron Delport, Ariful Haque, Faf du Plessis, Liton Das (wk), Imrul Kayes (c), Nahidul Islam, Karim Janat, Tanvir Islam, Shohidul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman
Minister Group Dhaka: Mohammad Shahzad (wk), Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah (c), Mohammad Naim, Andre Russell, Imran Uzzaman, Mashrafe Mortaza, Shuvagata Hom, Ebadot Hossain, Rubel Hossain, Qais Ahmad
In the last fixture between both sides, Faf Du Plessis was unstoppable. He scored 83 runs and lead his side to a good score with ease. Facing the same attack two days later will make things easier for Faf Du Plessis as he looks to replicate a strong performance and help his side move up the table.
Andre Russell has been in good bowling form through this tournament. With a slow run-up, Russell’s high pace often comes as a surprise to batters. On the slow Mirpur surfaces, his rapid pace makes batters feel even more rushed, and that has been a cause for wickets in the tournament for Russell.
Both sides are in decent positions and unlikely to change their eleven after playing balanced teams.
Comilla Victorians secured a one-sided win in the previous encounter, but the talent in Dhaka does not make the upcoming fixture easy to predict. With capable stars in Dhaka such as Mahmudullah, Russell, and Rahman, Dhaka has a strong chance of bouncing back. Both sides have some big names and a nail-biter is certain if players on both teams fire well. Overall, though, going by the previous fixture it can be said that the Victorians have a slight edge, but are not too far ahead.
