With a staggering total of 316 runs to his name, Kohli’s masterful batting display has left cricket enthusiasts in awe.

Trailing behind Kohli is the young sensation Riyan Parag, who has showcased immense talent throughout the tournament. With 185 runs under his belt, Parag has proved his mettle as a formidable batsman. RR skipper Sanju Samson jumped to the third spot after scoring 69 against RCB. He has scored 178 runs in 4 matches.

Another name that has consistently featured in the Orange Cap race is Heinrich Klaasen. With 177 runs to his credit, Klaasen’s steady contributions have been vital for his team’s success.

In a thrilling encounter between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), Shubman Gill, the GT Skipper, stole the show with his explosive batting. His blistering knock of 88 runs off just 47 balls catapulted him to the fourth position on the IPL 2024 Orange Cap leaderboard, with a total of 164 runs.

IPL 2024: Purple Cap Race

Yuzvendra Chahal stormed to the top of the Purple Cap standings during the Rajasthan Royals vs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru clash in Jaipur on Saturday. Chahal picked up two wickets as he pipped Gujarat Titans’ Mohit Sharma and Chennai Super Kings pacer Mustafizur Rahman on the list. Chahal has now taken 8 wickets, while Mohit Sharma from the Gujarat Titans is in the second spot with 7 wickets. 

Mustafizur Rahman from CSK has also taken seven wickets, but he is in third place on the list. Mayank Yadav, representing Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), has witnessed a steady rise in the Purple Cap standings. With notable contributions to his team’s bowling attack, Yadav’s performances have not gone unnoticed. He has bagged six wickets, and he is on the 4th spot on the list.

Securing the fifth position in the Purple Cap standings is Khaleel Ahmed, representing the Delhi Capitals (DC). Ahmed’s consistent performance with the ball has been crucial for his team’s success in the tournament. HR is in the 5th position with 6 wickets.
