In addition to his fifty, Kohli achieved another remarkable milestone in his IPL career: he became the first player to surpass 7,500 runs in the tournament’s history. This puts him far ahead of Shikhar Dhawan, his closest competitor.
Kohli’s innings was marked by aggressive play, especially during his partnership with Faf du Plessis, which yielded a quickfire 100 runs for the first wicket. This was their fifth century partnership for RCB in the IPL. Kohli’s innings, filled with three sixes and four boundaries, showed his determination and intent right from the beginning.
Despite previously struggling at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Kohli displayed a different level of determination this time, particularly against Rajasthan’s left-arm pacers and part-time bowlers like Riyan Parag.
