Earlier in the day, after a long deferral due to rain, England were embedded to bat by the South African captain. They continued to lose wickets yet managed to score at a healthy rate. They wrapped up with around 200 in the 29 overs allotted to them and that ended up being all that could possibly be needed as they guarded it without any problem.

For South Africa, after an impressive performance with the bat in the last game, it was a sorry trip for them in this one.

Their top order had no responses to the movement earlier and the centre and the lower order couldn’t deal with the spinners. Eventually, it was quite a poor performance with the bat by them.

Early wickets is what they required and they got a bounty! Reece Topley proceeded with his noteworthy form and David Willey gave him great help. They had England 5 down quickly. The guests simply never recovered. The main thing which could save them was rain which showed up, however taking the players off the field was not adequately hard. England, however, figured out how to take the remaining wickets, Adil Rashid and Moeen did well to bowl the overs rapidly as well as get the leftover wickets too.

Sam Curran is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his crucial knock of 35 from only 18 balls and a significant wicket of David Miller with the ball close by. He says that he attempts to bat with the player’s attitude and during an injury he made them remember to do so and needed to be steady with the bat. Mentions that the message is always to pick the positive choice and everything revolves around picking the right ball. Specifies that he needs to be versatile and needs to give Buttler various choices and every time he plays for England, he attempts to give a valiant effort.

Jos Buttler, the captain of England says that it feels great to have success and the manner in which the bowlers got early wickets, that set the vibe of the game. He is really content with the overall form of his players and says that they hope to come down on the resistance at whatever point they can.

He specifies that he and Liam had a talk in the centre and chose to pick the right bowlers to pursue and switch gears. He says that eventually he was content with the all out on this pitch as this pitch was not that simple to bat for the new batters. He adds Topley and Willey bowled splendidly and they will hope to proceed with this to the series decider on Sunday.

Keshav Maharaj, the captain of South Africa says that the objective was chase able and they didn’t bat well and if one loses four wickets in the Powerplay, it becomes troublesome. Tells that they should be better with the bat and it is back to square one. Makes reference to that he enjoys captaincy and it gives an alternate point of view on the field and says that the media consideration is a vital part of the job.
