The penultimate game in Pool B of the 2022 T20 World Cup sees West Indies go head to head with Ireland on Friday afternoon at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart. All four teams in Pool B have won one and lost one which means that a victory in this game will guarantee passage to the Super 12 stage. West Indies were much improved against Zimbabwe and looked far more like their usual selves than against Scotland. If their batters can deliver then they should be able to get the victory. Ireland have beaten Afghanistan and Scotland across their last three IT20s. They will not be intimidated against West Indies and have the players to cause an upset.
West Indies vs Ireland – 11th Match

Date & Time: 21th October at 9:30 AM IST

A par score will be no higher than 165 on this surface. Generally it has been the pace and seam bowlers who have had more joy instead of the spinners. Cloudy and humid with some sunny spells. We expect rain to arrive later in the evening but not to interrupt this match.

With Pool B having four teams on two points, there could well be some nervous moments in this match. West Indies will hope their big match experience counts for a great deal. This game is all set to be a classic contest with fans of both sides and neutrals likely to follow this match very closely. A victory for either team will see them progress to the next stage and we are predicting a very tight match. Overall, we are backing West Indies to win. Considering the team combination, West Indies is expected to win this match.
