RCB vs RR: Both teams have a habit of starting tournaments well. They show a lot of promise and are strong title contenders early on but then fall away and end very poorly in the table. This time, RR hasn’t shown signs of falling, but RCB are showing signs of withering away.
Their batting was dismal against SRH as they made only 68. The top-order collapsed to Jansen, ad the bowling failed to contain SRH as SRH went on to win with a huge marign, giving a massive boost in the net run rate.
For Rajasthan Royals, they have a monster carrying them at the top. Jos Buttler is scoring consistently, and along with him Devdutt Padikkal and Sanju Samson are batting with more freedom and ending with unnoticed contributions. Another contributor, Shimron Hetmyer, is also doing a wonderful job, leaving Rajasthan with a strong batting line-up. Their bowling line-up has also been good this season, defending totals regularly, leaving them with a well-balanced unit.
Match: RCB vs RR
Date: 26th April 2022
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: MCA Stadium, Pune
The weather is clear for the game with no rain forecast throughout the RCB vs RR fixture.
The Pune surface is still pretty hard unlike the wearing Mumbai surfaces. Runs may be easier to find here as the surfaces are rather fresh with recent games having been moved out of Pune. With a fresher pitch, batting second is a better option.

Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli has been in poor form this season but with champion players you never know when a big score can come. With RCB’s top-order struggling, he remains a vital clog and it is only a matter of time before Virat Kohli gets among the runs as the tournament ticks on.
Jos Buttler
RR don’t need to look farther than Jos Buttler while determining their key players. The man has been a beast with three centuries in the tournament. He is winning games on his own while also allowing batters around him to play freely. With the form he is in, a few more centuries seem likely as Jos Buttler looks unstoppable.
RCB won a close encounter against RR in their previous match-up, but they may not find it as easy this time around. Since that game, Jos Buttler has hit another range of form while the bowling has finally understood its rhythm and is working in sync to attack sides.
Match Prediction: RR will win the match.
