After the IPL 2022 season, Ravindra Jadeja made headlines when he deleted all of the pictures of himself wearing the Chennai Super Kings jersey from his Instagram account. Last year, the CSK all-rounder was named captain, but MS Dhoni took over midway through the season, when the champion team was struggling. Jadeja was expected to leave the team following the performance of the previous season, according to reports. Notwithstanding, one more report came in that MS Dhoni made it clear to the administration that Jadeja ought to be held at any expense and the all-rounder will be essential for the CSK side in IPL 2023.
On Tuesday, December 13, the IPL franchise posted a picture of Ravindra Jadeja dressed in South Indian attire, putting an end to the split rumors. The cricketer also posted a picture of himself dressed in the same attire.
In his 210 IPL games, he has scored more than 2,500 runs and taken 132 wickets. Jadeja has also represented Gujarat Lions, Kerala’s Kochi Tuskers, and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. Regarding MS Dhoni, he will likely lead the Chennai Super Kings for the final time in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). In his likely final season, the legendary CSK captain is expected to say goodbye to the fans.
