SOB vs TRT: SOB has another win to help them stay afloat. They still in contention but have a tough road ahead. With two teams on fourth, a win here will take them past NOS to sixth, helping them get closer and also provide some motivation for a comeback. It is not going to be easy though. TRT is easily the best side this season, making use of its resources despite limitations. Despite the likes of Joe Root and Rashid Khan leaving mid-way, TRT are still looking very commanding. They have a nice set of all-rounders and steady, versatile batters at the top which is helping them get enough for the bowlers to do the job.

Venue: The Rose Bowl, Southampton
The evening is nice warm and clear for the SOB vs TRT fixture.
The Southampton track has been very batting friendly this season. The pitch is flat but a touch dry which should help the spinners. Despite the dryness though, batting should be easy and a high-scoring game is expected. Batting first will be a better option.
Quinton De Kock, James Vince, Joe Weatherley, Alex Davies(wk), Tim David, Marcus Stoinis, Craig Overton, Dan Moriarty, James Fuller, Michael Hogan, Jake Lintott
Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Dawid Malan, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Ian Cockbain, Samit Patel, Tabraiz Shamsi, Luke Wood, Daniel Sams, Marchant De Lange, Luke Fletcher
Samit Patel is doing a pretty good job this season. With Rashid Khan and Tabraiz Shamsi around, he is still making an impact with some tight bowling and a fair amount of wickets. His batting is also a pretty key weapon down the order, and he has been one of the silent stars this season for TRT. His presence is slowly becoming tough to ignore as he remains a constant in a team that has players rotating due to national commitments.
Paul Stirling has arrived at the Hundred. He is coming off an incredible set of home games where he did a really good job for Ireland with the bat. Normally, Irish players do not get much chances to make an impact in leagues and when they do, they fail to score, but Stirling is looking really good. One game in and he has found form and will be a very fun player to watch in the upcoming games.

SOB has some wonderful players in their line-up and it is a mystery as to why they are ranked so low this season. They have a number of match-winners. TRT are full of match-winners as well, which is why the upcoming game promises to be an interesting one despite both sides spots on the table. While the likes of Quinton De Kock can make a huge impact on the game, TRT come in with a slight advantage only because of the consistency they have displayed this season.
