Welsh Fire are still winless after seven games coming into this TRT vs WEF match. They are doing a very poor job this season and look like they may go through the entire tournament without getting a single win. It has been a challenge for them and all they can do now is wait and hope the tournament comes to an end soon. Trent Rockets though are going really well and look very settled. They have players coming in and performing nicely and the value of experience is showing very well in their case.

Match: TRT vs WEF
Date: 29th August 2022
Time: 11:30 PM IST
Venue: Trent Bridge, Nottingham
The evening is nice warm and clear for the TRT vs WEF fixture.
The track is likely to be dry and good for batting. Batting second is a better option.
Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Dawid Malan, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Ian Cockbain, Samit Patel, Tabraiz Shamsi, Luke Wood, Daniel Sams, Marchant De Lange, Luke Fletcher
Tom Banton, Joe Clarke, Sam Hain, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Josh Cobb, Jacob Bethell, Ryan Higgins, David Payne, Noor Ahmed, Adam Zampa
Tom Banton is back after missing a few games. He is the type of player who can score big and score quick on his day and WEF will be relying on him heavily for their first win of the season. If he manages to play the way he is known to play, the batting will look a lot better and will give WEF some hope for the future.
Dawid Malan is in the middle of a pretty decent tournament. He is scoring consistently has some big scores and is clearing the fence with ease. He has found a nice balance between anchoring and aggression and this should give him a lot of confidence as he heads into some international assignments in the future.
