Afghanistan take on Sri Lanka in Match 21 of the 2022 T20 World Cup at the Gabba, Brisbane on Tuesday afternoon. Afghanistan has lost to England and had no results against New Zealand and Ireland without a ball being bowled. Sri Lanka has won one and lost two matches in the second round. Afghanistan fancied their chances against Ireland but saw the match washed out on Friday in Melbourne. This will be a tough game but Afghanistan will be raring to play after two successive abandonment. Sri Lanka has been very unlucky with injuries and their pace bowling attack is not up to its usual standard. However, their spin bowlers have enough talent to beat any opposition when they get it right.
Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka – 32th Match
Venue: The Gabba, Brisbane
Date & Time: 01st November at 9:30 AM IST
Live Streaming: Star Sports Network
This wicket should provide for an excellent contest between bat and ball. There wil be plenty of pace in the pitch and we expect a par score of over 175. In spite of rain earlier in the day, the forecast is for dry weather during the scheduled hours of this game. Expect the temperature to be in the low 20s throughout.
No Injury. It will be added when there is an update

After capturing the hearts and minds of many neutrals during the 2021 T20 World Cup, Afghanistan have not had much opportunity to show their skills. They need to put in their best performance in this game. Although Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are in sixth and fifth place in Group 1, they are both only one point behind the three teams in second, third and fourth. We are predicting an entertaining clash in Brisbane and are backing Sri Lanka to win this match. Considering the team combination, Sri Lanka is expected to win this match.
