After Bangladesh won the final ODI of the three-match series to prevent a 3-0 defeat against England on Monday, the two teams go head to head in the first IT20 on Thursday afternoon. Bangladesh showed plenty of character in the final ODI and under a different captain in a different format, could well go 1-0 up in this series. England will be full of confidence after winning the ODI series. This will be the first time the team has played IT20 cricket since their victory in the T20 World Cup Final late last year. However, for England, coming up against an inconsistent side like Bangladesh, who have a strong home record, may not have been their preferred choice of opponents.

We expect to see another low-bouncing two-paced wicket in Chattogram. Any score over 150 will be a good score on this pitch.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update.

Teams often look forward to their first game in the format after winning a World title. However, for England, coming up against an inconsistent side like Bangladesh, who have a strong home record, may not have been their preferred choice of opponents. We expect both teams to be on top at times in this game but are backing England’s variety in the bowling attack and their long batting order to be enough to win the match. This will be the first time the team has played IT20 cricket since their victory in the T20 World Cup Final late last year. Considering the team combination, England is expected to win this match.
