Australia winning in Indore gives both sides a fair bit to play for in Ahmedabad. They battled a turning track and came out on top, with Steve Smith back as captain and with a handful of players leaving after the first two Tests. Now, they have a chance of levelling the series, while also leaving India with some thinking to do as they look for a win to secure their spot in the WTC Finals.
Date: March 9th, 2023

Venue: Ahmedabad
With summer hitting hot and dry weather is expected at Ahmedabad.
A flat track full of runs is expected at Mumbai.
Played- 104 | India-32 | Australia- 44 | Draw- 28 | Tie- 1
Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, KS Bharat, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Shami
Travis Head, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Peter Handscomb, Cameron Green, Alex Carey, Mitchell Starc, Todd Murphy, Nathan Lyon, Matt Kuhnemann
Ravichandran Ashwin struggled to find rhythm in the third Test. With few runs to play with he was rather impatient, which hampered his style of bowling as he did not find enough consistency. With a key Test on hand, and with India needing a win, India will hope Ashwin can find his control and run through the Australian line-up.
Usman Khawaja has been looking really against spin and is consistently getting good starts. With a Test to go though he would want to convert his starts to a big hundred, allowing Australia to get into a really good position.
Australia were comprehensive in victory in the previous Test. The momentum is with them now as India struggle with their batting. However, with India still looking strong at home and with them in a must-win position they could come out with more fight.
