To start the series well, India will need a really strong start from Smriti Mandhana. If she can survive the first twenty overs, India are set for a very good game, and a lot depends on how the start given by her and Shafali Verma.
Like India rely on Mandhana for strong starts, England will want a good start from Sophia Dunkley. She is a very talented opener as well, and has got some decent starts in recent times. A good innings early from her will help set the tone for England in this fixture.
England are at times inconsistent but going by paper strength they should still fancy themselves against India.
