The IND vs PAK game in the Asia Cup 2022 will be played on August 28 in Dubai. The timetable was released recently and was shared by Asian Cricket Council chief Jay Shah who shared the timetable on his Twitter handle on August 2, Tuesday. UAE was given the hosting privileges for the tournament after it had to be moved out of Sri Lanka because of the latter’s economic crisis.

India and Pakistan are put in group A with a qualifier team. Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are set in group B. It is plausible of India and Pakistan playing more than once in the tournament.

Discussing IND vs PAK Asia Cup face off, In 14 meetings between the two sides in Asia Cup, Pakistan has managed to beat India five times while losing 8 matches themselves. The PCB declared a 15-member side for the Asia Cup. The side will be led by Babar Azam with Shadab Khan named as the vice-captain of the side.

The Indian squad has not been announced at this point however the senior players are supposed to make a comeback into the side. The BCCI is probably going to declare one team for the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup.
