Pitch Report

All the surfaces this season are showing signs of wear and Brabourne is no different. The last game though saw a decent score made with a score of 170 odd defended in the final over, indicating that the surface is not completely unplayable. Batting first is still a better option though, despite dew, due to the slowness on offer.

DC vs SRH Predicted Playing XI

SRH Playing XI

Team News

  • The Delhi Capitals are likely to remain unchanged.
  • Washington Sundar injured his hand in the land game and may miss out again, while T Natarajan had a niggle of his own and could be a doubtful starter.

Key Players

David Warner

David Warner, the Hyderabad hero, is up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, a side he has seen grow and a side he has led strongly over the years as he grew into an IPL legend. While Warner downplayed any hype regarding the opposition, the encounter still promises to be entertaining as Warner goes up against his old side.

Nicholas Pooran

The game was almost out of reach, but Nicholas Pooran played a blinder to bring Sunrisers into a situation where they could believe that a win was achievable. Although he couldn’t take his team to a win, the knock is likely to give him a lot of confidence and there could be some better performances coming from him in the upcoming games.

DC vs SRH Match Tips

Both teams come into the game with strong bowling line-ups and shaky batting line-ups. There has been some good batting performances though, from both, but looking at the individual talent on offer, the Delhi Capitals may have a slight edge in the game.

Match Prediction: DC will win the match.
