The Indian Premier League (IPL) season is quickly approaching, and the IPL 2023 auction is just a few weeks away. This is the time of year when fans get excited. Kochi will host the one-day event on December 23 and host the IPL 2023 auction for the first time in Kerala.

991 players have enlisted their names for the sale and the rundown will be managed down in front of the bartering. There have been reports regarding the potential start date and the IPL 2023 final date, with the mini auction for the following season just around the corner. 

According to sources, the IPL 2023 could begin on March 31st, 2023, or April 1st, 2023.

They also say that the IPL 2023 final could take place on May 28th, 2023, or June 4th, 2023. These dates could be very close to the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 final, which is likely to take place from June 7th to 11th.

In addition, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad may host the IPL 2023 opener for the defending champion Gujarat Titans. The BCCI for the IPL and the ICC for the WTC 2023 final have yet to announce official dates.
