In Match 9, which took place on Thursday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Kolkata Knight Riders overcame their initial defeat in the IPL 2023 to defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 81 runs. RCB’s chase for 205 runs was crushed by KKR’s bowlers, who bowled them out for 123 in 17.4 overs.

Orange Cap list after KKR vs RCB match in IPL 2023
With 149 runs in two matches, CSK’s Ruturaj Gaikwad leads the Orange Cap race at the moment. Kyle Mayers is in second place with 126 runs in two matches. Shikhar Dhawan is third with 126, Virat Kohli is fourth with 103, and Sanju Samson is fifth with 97.
Purple Cap list after KKR vs RCB match in IPL 2023
With eight wickets, Mark Wood of LSG leads the Purple Cap race. Chakravarthy has moved up to second place with five scalps thanks to his four-wicket haul against RCB. Rashid Khan is third, Ravi Bishnoi is fourth, and Nathan Ellis is fifth.
