In preparation for the three-game Test series beginning on December 26 in Centurion, Team India’s captain Virat Kohli arrived on Thursday in South Africa. An update for fans was posted on social media on Friday by the BCCI with a video of the team’s journey from Mumbai to Johannesburg. “From Mumbai to Jo’Burg! Capturing Team India’s journey to South Africa,” the BCCI captioned the video. In the video, we see Virat Kohli teasing pacer Ishant Sharma. There are a lot of smiles on their faces. It seemed they were really having a great time. Below is the video:

In the video, Virat says Ishant would be willing to travel anywhere in the world if he had the right suitcase. As a result, the pacer asked him not to tease him in the morning. Besides Kohli and Ishant, we can also see head coach Rahul Dravid laughing with Shreyas Iyer. The new vice-captain of the Test team, Rohit Sharma, is ruled out of the series due to a left hamstring injury. Priyank Panchal has taken his place.

On Wednesday, Virat Kohli released an explosive press conference in which he denied the reports of Virat missing the three-match ODI series, saying he was always available for selection. SuperSport Park in Centurion will host the first test on Boxing Day, followed by Johannesburg and Cape Town for the second and third tests.
